About Ayurveda
Ayurveda is a traditional medicine that originated in India over 5000 years ago. It’s a sister science to yoga, with the understanding that yoga is a journey to balance the mind, and Ayurveda offers modalities to balance the body.
The Sanskrit word broken down translates into:
Ayur= life
Veda = science or knowledge
Therefore, you can think of Ayurveda as, “the science of life.”

I'm a Certified Nutritionist and Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor with my Masters in Nutrition. I've studied (and continue to explore), a range of mind-body practices including mindfulness meditation, mindfulness-based self compassion, herbal medicine, and cross-cultural spiritual practices.
My passion is to share the beautiful tradition of Ayurveda with anyone ready to receive it. There's nothing that fills my heart more than empowering people to find their own balance through mind-body practices like those that come from the Vedas.
Although life can sometimes be full of chaos, if you learn how to be your own "calm in the storm," nothing can stop you from getting what you want. My goal is to help you find your inner healer by illuminating the wisdom that you already hold within your body and mind.
